We just built the wood (cedar or spruce Im not sure which it really is) today. Amazing product. Way easier to build than other similar products but, no it’s not actually easy. We had posts and beams the wrong way and cross supports backward which took some doubling back. We also did not receive the 44 bolts to do the final strapping (an unnecessary but very structurally supportive addition to the main design). Be careful and read ahead on the instructions. Make sure all bolts and holes are facing the correct direction before securing anything. Double and triple check. Sort all of the structural, hardware and roofing components by name before you get started! Alignment was so much easier than other similar products. Although not installed on a level Slab, we found it easy to install the ridge and everything adjusted to the slope. Really recommend this product, make sure you have a team helping you and good luck!

We absolutely LOVE our new Gazebo!! It is not really difficult. It’s just time consuming. You definitely need at least 2 people! We could have gotten it done a lot quicker had we had a third person to help. We were very happy with the color too! We have never been so excited about a purchase before, but it means even more that we put it together ourselves. You won’t be disappointed with this gazebo! It’s gorgeous and well made!

I think you need min. 3 people for you to assemble correct and finish within a reasonable time. I would read directions all the way through once. The roof is time consuming and you need room on all the sides so you can slide roof panels on. I did not know so I had to have 4 people pickup over the deck to put the back of roof on because to close to house than put back over the railing. I am very happy so far with the product and now I do not have to worry about replacing soft canopy top every 2 years. I am going to make sure I get a roof brush so I can keep snow off in winter to make sure it stays nice. There is no way you are taking this down every year not unless you have nothing better to do and have a lot a space to store. This came in 4 boxes and all within the week and 2 deliveries. Still do not know how the gutter system works but I was under when raining and no leaks:) Would definitely recommend this Gazebo.

I’m in love with this gazebo!! I have even set up the air mattress and slept in it. I love being able to enclose the whole thing and feel like I’m in a different room. I hung solar lights that are perfect. It’s so fun being able to enjoy summer nights I look forward to many wonderful fall nights and having my space heater out there also

Absolutely fantastic purchase and perfect for our backyard. This was not overly taxing to put together and has weathered to heavy down pours (thunderstorms) so far. The instructions were not laid out in a manner that made sense (to me) but still easy to follow. I was very surprised that all of the pieces lined up and required no modifications. The insert in the roof cabin was perfect for light and fan installations. Again...fantastic purchase and we are looking forward to many evenings underneath this shelter.

We enjoy this beautiful addition to our rear deck. It went together well with all pieces fitting together easily and perfectly. Well designed and with using aluminum and galvanized steel plus a heavy powdercoated finish, we wont worry each time a storm comes through like we use to when using the older flimsy canopy type gazebos. We think the price is more than fair and think of it as an affordable quick additional outdoor room requiring little to know maintenance.

While it has not seen one yet, i am not worried about its ability to hold a moderate snow load and take heavy wind. The cross braces that hold the legs to the roof are surprisingly sturdy for a flat pack product like this. The coating on the entire thing has a great finish and seems really thick. As in some other reviews, i agree some parts can seem flimsy when on their own, but the finished product is plenty sturdy.

Had its first real wind test. Sustained winds over 50mph for 4 hours, gusts up to 75 mph. It stood strong. No damage. It was anchored well on my second story deck using ratcheted straps from Home Depot, fastened to the deck joists. We added some extra Velcro straps around the curtains which saved them from any damage as well.Regarding assembly,... I highly recommend putting together some Legos with your child or grandchild first. This was like putting together a giant lego set,... no words, just pictures and arrows. There were over 300 pieces and over 400 screws/nuts. Pay attention to the pictures, there are many pieces that have subtle differences, much like Legos as well.I took my time and did it by myself. It took me about 20 hours. It would have been much faster with some help. I would buy again.

Well made...very sturdy! Very nice addition to our backyard...we love it and have gotten many compliments!

This gazebo is well worth the money, we love it. Me and my husband put it up ourselves with little issues. Wish we would have bought one year’s ago. Looks better in front of you.
